I’m not sure where to start! Vila Kalango was amazing. One of the nicest spots we have ever stayed. The grounds are gorgeous and literally right on the beach. Grass huts, palm trees and a pool to die for. If you’re a wind sports person you will love this place. We winged and Sup foiled everyday. Perfect 25 knot plus winds side off, what more could you ask for. Eduardo and his awesome staff at the water sports center were very helpful with anything we needed gear or information wise about the spot. They have awesome gear to rent if you don’t want to travel with your kit, or lessons in windsurf, paddle, kite or wing. The staff/family at Vila was so helpful with everything. They helped us set up some amazing downwind adventures with a buggy driver tracking us the whole way and then picking us up wherever we came in. I had been struggling a bit with learning how to parawing and setting up our buggy driver with my location on whatsapp and having him keep an extra close eye on me was what I really needed to feel comfortable. The food is soooo good at Vila they have an amazing breakfast where they spoil you every morning. Oh yes please I’ll have the fresh waffle/crepe with my omelette. Oh and the detox “green” juice every morning was reason enough to come alone. When we travel for GWA contests the accommodations are sooo important. You are ether draining your “batteries” or charging them. Vila made us feel like a million bucks! Brazil and Vila Kalango are the perfect spot for Americans to take a lovely vacation when it starts to get cold in the fall/winter. They take care of everything from a driver at the airport to pick you up to amazing food and accommodations. Brazil is only 5 hours ahead and an easy trip from the US! Thank you Villa and Brazil, 5 stars, can’t wait to come back next year. The MacDonalds
